Looking to rent a bike in Santa Cruz? We rent electric bikes — the kind that flatten the hills so you spend the day looking at the ocean instead of grinding pedals. They're easy for anyone to ride, comfortable, and they turn a long coastal day into a short one.

Where to pick up

• West Cliff Drive — at Alta Coffee, right on the coastal path.
• Davenport — at the Roadhouse, for the quieter north coast.
• Downtown — at the Santa Cruz Hostel on Beach Hill, two minutes from the Boardwalk.
• Your place — we'll deliver to your hotel or Airbnb anywhere in Santa Cruz.

What it costs

$70 for a half day (4 hours), $120 for a full day (8 hours). Helmet and lock included. Riders need to be 16 or older.

Where people ride

Most people head to West Cliff Drive, the flat paved path along the ocean from the Wharf out to Natural Bridges. For a bigger day, ride north through Wilder Ranch toward Davenport. We put together some route guides if you want ideas, and we run guided tours if you'd rather not plan.
